Housing

About our Housing Program…

Housing & Case Management are our program pillars. Young people in our program are required to work with their case manager in both Phase 1: Lead Roommate & Phase 2: Independent Living of the Housing Program. This includes meeting weekly to discuss housing goals and needs, remove barriers to access housing & learn how to run a house! There is more than it can seem to get a space of your own, and then maintaining it all and thriving! Our hope is you will truly thrive!

PHASE 1 : LEAD ROOMMATE Think of your lead roommate like an RA or live-in mentor. They are there to support young people emotionally and practical things. We also organize “house night” to help the house stay connected.

PHASE 2: INDEPENDENT LIVING You may be able to maintain your own lease but still need some support from your Turntable Case Manager to build your independent life skills and have the support you need to succeed!

Turntable believes that everyone has the right to safe, secure and affordable housing. This basic right to housing should be available to all young people, irrespective of their religious beliefs, ethnic background, health status, or personal values & history.
